Master Facilities Plan 2019-2029

In 2019, the Board considered the Master Facilities Plan (MFP) that lays a solid foundation for MVWSD to accommodate student growth, while continuing to upgrade its facilities and infrastructure over the next ten years. This MFP replaces the Student Facilities Improvement Plan that informed Measure G (raised $198 million for construction projects in 2012-2019) and sunsets in 2020.

The MFP was proposed to inform the new $259 million bond program, Measure T, that passed March 3, 2020.  The MFP prioritizes projects for bond funding, such as safety/operational efficiency work and facilities improvements needed for short-term growth.

Due to limited funding, the MFP does not recommend including in the bond the facilities projects needed for long-term growth in North Bayshore, East Whisman and Terra Bella.
