Board meeting Preview: June 3

The Board of Trustees will meet on Thursday, June 3. Some of the meeting’s topics include:

* Staff Years of Service and Retirements
* Monta Loma field update
* Public hearing on Huff Elementary’s renaming
* Public hearing on the LCAP
* End of the year i-Ready assessment data
* MVWSD budget
* Construction update (lighting and restrooms)

No post-Board meeting, community check in with Dr. Rudolph on Friday, due to it being the last day of school. Thank you for attending all year long, and have a great summer!

 
Staff members’ years of service and retirements
staff appreciationPlease join us in recognizing our staff members’ years of service and retirements. We are grateful to our MVWSD staff members for their years of dedication and commitment to our students and families. They will be recognized at the June 3 Board of Trustees meeting (Agenda and meeting details are here). Virtual Promotions Ceremonies

Fifth- and eighth-grade parents are invited to celebrate their students' promotions next week. Please join us for special online virtual ceremonies next week. Parents will view the video ceremonies in their PowerSchool Parent Portal accounts on the day of the ceremony. Here are the instructions. Congratulations!

COVID Vaccinations and free Boba tea at Crittenden on June 2

Free COVID-19 vaccinations for youth and adults are available on Wednesday, June 2 from noon to 7:30 p.m. at Crittenden Middle School at the Sports Center, 1500 W. Middlefield Road.

Youth (12 years and older) and adults are welcome.
* No appointment needed.
* You don't need health insurance.
* Everyone is welcome regardless of immigration status.

If any patient received their first vaccination elsewhere, they may receive their second dose at this event.

Children ages 12 - 17 need permission from a parent or guardian to get vaccinated which could be:
* A signed consent form (Forms are linked here COVID vaccination consent forms (English) - or can be picked up in the Graham and Crittenden school offices)
* A parent or guardian with them
* A telephone call to the parent or guardian
