Reopening schools for in-person learning

Thank you for supporting your children in “Connected 100% Distance Learning” due to COVID-19. Our County passed into the Red Tier of the Blueprint for a Safer Economy on March 3, 2021, which means that beginning March 18, we will open our schools in phases for in-person learning for students whose families have selected “Option B/Blended” in the learning options survey.

For information on MVWSD's School Reopening Plan, please click here.

The details

"Roomies": For families who selected "Option B/Blended," their children will return to school as follows:
  * March 18: PK, TK, K, 1, 2, 6, SAI
  * March 29: 3, 4, 5, 7
  * April 5: 8

Depending on individual scenarios at school sites, some Roomies will attend Mondays and Tuesdays (Roomies A), some Roomies will attend Thursdays and Fridays (Roomies B), and some Roomies will attend MTRF (Roomies C).

"Zoomies": Students whose families selected "Option C," will remain in distance learning for the remainder of the school year.

Your child's class placement and schedule will be shared with you on Monday, March 15. Principals will do their very best to accommodate families' requests as indicated in the survey.
