NOTICE OF 2018-2019
 LOCAL CONTROL ACCOUNTABILITY PLAN (LCAP) PUBLIC HEARING

The governing board of Mountain View Whisman School District will hold a public hearing on the adoption of the proposed
 Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)
for the district for the year ending June 30, 2019, 
prior to final adoption,
a s required by Education Code Section 52062(b)(1). This public hearing was held at the same meeting as the Budget Public Hearing as required by Education Code 42127(a)(1)d. Members of the public are encouraged to attend and offer comments and specific recommendations regarding the specific actions and expenditures proposed to be included in the LCAP. 

The public hearing was held during the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Trustees on May 31, 2018, at 7:00 pm.

The LCAP was inspected by the public beginning May 18, 2018, during the hours of 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM at the District Office, 750-A San Pierre Way Mountain View 94043. 

The proposed LCAP can also be viewed online below and comments submitted electronically. 

The governing board is scheduled to take action on the adoption of the proposed LCAP at the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees on June 14, 2018.

February 12  :  Presentation to District English Language Advisory Committee (DELAC)

February 15  :  Presentation to District Office Maintenance, Operations & Transportation, Food & Nutrition

February 28  :  Joint staff meetings (Crittenden & Theuerkauf)

March  :  Review initial input

April  :  Review data from surveys

April 28  :  LCAP draft due

May 1-31  :  Post draft to web for public comment, DAC, and English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) meetings

Gather additional input from Advisory groups and respond

May 31  :  Board of Trustees, first reading of LCAP

June 14  :  Board of Trustees for approval of LCAP. Submission to Santa Clara County Office of Education.

Community Input

The District has completed the draft of the 2018-19 LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan). The draft LCAP was developed in tandem with the District's Strategic Plan using data collected from the following:
